The longest and most active outreach for ABG has been the Cuban ministry. ABG staff members have visited the island country since 2001 and the Lord has directed the team to assist with hundreds of churches, pastors, missionaries in the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through countless trips over the past 23 years, the ABG team has built strong relationships with numerous Christian leaders. The principal focus of ABG’s ministry has been to find ways to serve our Cuban brothers who are experiencing a very challenging time in the history of their beautiful country. This service has taken numerous forms:

– Monthly support for more than 200 pastors, missionaries and their families
– Rebuilding/renovating damaged churches
– ABG’s “Cuenta de Amor” project is helping hundreds of believers in western and central Cuba to meet critical food – and medical needs
– Sending bibles and sound biblical materials to promote sound doctrine
– Numerous trips to Cuba to teach, encourage and support
– Assisting families who are forced to immigrate
– Shipments of food

The current economic situation in Cuba has deteriorated significantly and all of those that ABG serves are facing challenging circumstances. Electricity is often only available for 6 to 12 hours a day, food is scarce and many, especially in the rural areas, suffer daily from hunger. ABG is staying in contact with and is actively supporting thousands of needy Christians during this crisis. Despite the dire economic conditions, many new opportunities have arisen to present the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.
